Different occlusion concepts for individual solutions in full dentures

Normal bite with lingual set-up concept (left) and cross bite (right) in the Ceramill Mind FDS full denture module

Prosthetic tooth sets of well-known manufacturers are available in various sizes and molds and are stored virtually in the Ceramill Mind software for the fabrication of digital full dentures with the FDS module. The software automatically sets up the prosthetic teeth according to the specifications of the digital model analysis, whereby the posterior teeth are arranged within an occluding quadrant to ensure correct occlusion relations. In addition, the VITA VIONIC prosthetic teeth offer several occlusional concepts to meet the requirements of different jaw situations.

This gives the user the choice between buccal and lingual concepts according to his/her wishes and the anatomical jaw situation. In addition to the lingualized set-up, the Gerber concept is also available. Furthermore, the software also supports cross toothing with regard to the bite position. Thus, digital full dentures with the FDS module also offer customized solutions for different patient situations.
