Hard metal milling – CoCr for Ceramill

With the new Ceramill Matik System from Amann Girrbach, laboratories can mill CoCr restorations with perfect surfaces, optimum precision and fit to the full – all in the well-proven convenient workflow.

Decisive for the outstanding results which dental technicians can achieve with NPM hard metal dry milling, is the perfect coordination of all components, which Amann Girrbach was able to realize thanks to decades of experience in the development of CNC machines.

First users are enthusiastic. Matthias Mützelburg of Neodent Zahntechnik in Berlin praises the performance: “With the 3 mm shaft, the Ceramill Matik works its way through the CoCr blank quickly and without problems.” He is also very impressed by a new convenience function: “While the machine processes the material dry, the already separated chips at the bottom of the milling chamber are repeatedly rinsed away via the wet cleaning system and collected in a separating container.”

With the software update 3.15 planned for mid-March, the material will be ready for selection in the software and stored with matching as well as validated milling strategies.
