This is an exclusive 2-day intensive training program and will provide a practical insight into the most current digital techniques supporting full end to end workflows for implant retained restorations. The workflow including intraoral scanning, implant planning, CAD design incorporating 3Shape design concept and manufacturing will be demonstrated in detail accompanied by practical hands-on workshops.

Hands-on workshops will cover the following exercises:

    • Intraoral scanning and utilization of CT scan data
    • Digital implant treatment planning
    • Incorporating Smile Design concepts & Patient Monitoring
    • CAD design full contour implant retained restoration
    • Take the surgical guide from virtual design to 3D printed product
    • Guided surgery protocols and model workshop
    • Manufacturing temporary restorationParticipants will follow the full workflow from scanning to planning and 3D printing a surgical guide.Conference is included with the purchase of TRIOS 3 or TRIOS 4 Intraoral Scanner through Dental Axess valued at $1980*

Saturday the 27th June

  • Introduction to the Digital Patient Journey
  • Digital treatment planning and diagnostics
  • CAD design full contour implant retained restorations
  • Digitally design surgical guide
  • Introduction to 3D printing concepts
  • Design and 3D print surgical guide

Sunday the 28th June

  • Guided surgery using 3D printed surgical guides
  • Incorporation 3Shape Smile Design concepts & Patient Monitoring tools
  • Design and manufacturing of final and temporary restorations
  • Partial and fully edentulous digital treatment planning

Speaker: Dr. Jan Paulics received his DDS from Karolinska Institute, Stockholm in 1993. He has practiced in both municipal and private dental clinics specializing in implant surgery and dentoalveolar surgery with a focus on prosthetic driven surgery using digital planning tools and surgical guides for the past 10 years. Jan has worked for the Swedish state as project manager for acquiring and implementing practice management solutions. Most recently working as an oral surgeon for the Eastman Institute in Stockholm, Jan is currently an Application Specialist at 3Shape. He continues to lecture for implant manufacturers and dental laboratories
