Problem:
In order to prevent composite sticking to instruments, some dentists dip their instruments in bonds.
Similarly in order, to make composite more sculptable some dentists add bond to the composite to make it easier to manipulate.
But bond contains HEMA.
HEMA attracts moisture to the restoration, introducing staining.
At the same time, most bonds are unfilled and adding these weakens the restorations.
Solution:
Modelling resin from Bisco contains no HEMA and no solvent.
It is also 30% micro-filled for strength.
Modelling Resin comes in 2 x 1.5gram syringes with tips included.
