It has the same active ingredient so MTA – Portland cement type II.
Theracal LC has the added convenience of being light-cured

Once haemostasis is obtained, simply apply 1mm of Theracal LC to MOIST dentinal surface and light cure.
Theracal LC is hydrophyllic. It will not stick to an overdried or desiccated surface.
Theracal LC regenerates dentine within 28 days, avoiding the need for a root canal in most cases.
